Eligibility
Qualifying Exam
Pass in SSLC (10th Standard) with minimum 35 marks in each subject.
Age Limit
No upper age limit. All eligible candidates may apply.
Quota
Community certificate required for reservation benefits.
Admission Process
Admissions are conducted as per Tamil Nadu Government norms through DOTE via a centralised counselling process.
- Applications are released after 10th (SSLC) results are published
- Submit application before the specified deadline (typically June)
- Common application system managed by DOTE
- Late or incomplete applications will be rejected

Lateral Entry (Direct 2nd Year)
Eligible candidates can directly join 2nd Year (III Semester) through lateral entry admission.
- Academic stream: Maths, Physics & Chemistry required (HSC)
- Vocational stream: Related subjects required (ITI)
- Only Tamil Nadu State candidates eligible
- No age limit
- Admission notification released after +2 results
